Hon. Younquoi Assesses Duo Highway

On Saturday, April 5, 2019, the Duo Highway in Meinpea-Mah Administrative District in Distruct # 8, Nimba County, was assessed by a team from the Nimba County Administration and myself for possible rehabilitation before the commencement of the rain. The Ciunty team was led by the Assistant Superintendent for Development, Hon. Raily Myers; other members included the County Engineer, Mr, Joseph Torloun, and one of the the heads of the technical leaders of the set of the County Road Works Equipment. The visit of the County Development team in the District followed a visit I made to Sanniquellie on the day before to negotiate and facilitate the actualization of said plan after some period of consultation with the County Superintendent and the Project Management Committee about the need to have said road rehabilitated before the rain gets seriousm. The assessment team commenced at the CNC junction at the Rail Road crossing along the Ganta-Tappita Highway in District Eight. The visiting team was met on arrival in Bunadin Headquarters by the District Commissioner, Mr. Saye Gondah and Paramount Chiefs Isaac Kolleh and Anthony Gweipaye of Zahn and Lao Chiefdoms respectively. Also present to receive the firsts were some Clan and General Towns Chiefs all of which were excited over the fact that their road is about to be rehabilitated.
