Also forming part of the closing exercises of the Flumpa Public School on July 23, 2019, was a dedication of a multi-purpose building constructed by a joint effort of the school administration; the PTA and other contributors, with the support of a Peace Corps Volunteer assigned at the school, Mr. Anthony——. It was through the connection of Mr —-  that funds, to the tone of $ 21,000.00 USD was sourced to construct the $35,000.00 valued edifice. Giving the purpose of the building, the head of the project, Vice Principal Yeleson N. Cutting the ribbon to the building, I, flanked by the CEO Moses Dologbay and Peace Corp Volunteer Anthony —-, thanked all contributors to the project, including international donors, for their hard work and gratuity. I pledged my continuous support to future infrastructural development of the school; concluding with a pledge of seven of the ten bundles of high grade zinc needed for the construction of two buildings intended for a teachers’ quarter on the campus. Mr. Tuopeliyi, fir his part, promised to buy a set uniforms for each of the six duxes of the classes honored during the closing ( Mr. Tuopeliyi middle photo). As a sign of appreciation, Mr. Anthony —- , whose tenure expires at the end of the school year, was gowned by authorities of the school quite to the pleasure of parents and other stakeholders, like ourselves. He, in return, felt flattered by the honor as he lavished praises on the people of Flumpa, particularly the school family for  their support.
