Gompa City, the only renowned COMMERCIAL CITY  in the rural part of the country, is fast becoming a NATIONAL PHENOMENON. Besides having an improved business climate; tremendous physical infrastructures and a huge population base, the city also boasts of several health facilities as well as a number of other social and economic services.

In order to enrich the already vibrant educational environment in the city, a Liberian missionary, Rev. Dr. Sei Bour and his wife, in collaboration with some foreign partners, are in the process of bringing into the city A COLLEGE PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL with the sole aim of preparing the children in such manner that would enable them easily sail through tertiary education nationally and internationally. Dr. Sei Bour  is a member of the United Liberia Inland Church. He hails from Yarsonnoh, Leewehpea Administrative. He is the founder and first President of the Liberia International Christian College (LICC) located in the same city. As his tenure with the college has expired, he and his wife, along with partners, have decided to venture into another productive activity within the educational sector of the country.

It can be recalled that, while I was in the United Stares in March 2019, I met the coupled in transit in Chicago while they were returning from a fund-raising mission during which I expressed my support to whatever they are doing to bring relief to our people. Our visit to their project site is in furtherance of said pledge.
